While treading the spiritual paths, one often will need recourse to differing routes. This website is here to offer various course corrections, and to amalgamate texts as they fit at the discretion of the author. The main criterion is whether these texts can be read in such a manner as to produce a deeper understanding. As always, every person on a journey is somewhat on their own, however this place hopes to be a guide for various journeys that are relatively safe.

All that Glitters Is Not Gold

It seems like all of our technology woes have been created by giving our data away, or else having it under lock and key. The original formulation of the internet was such that should some disaster befall the world, there would be some data preserved as well as a way to communicate. Ironically, corporations have mucked that vision up quite readily.

Site Design

This site is designed in Asciidoctor for the following reasons:

  • No reliance on SQL or database

  • Flat File for easy maintenance

  • Portable to a variety of formats, not the least of which is paper

  • Easy to move about if necessary, and able to be placed on technologies such as Gemini, IPFS

Do not make the mistake of seeing a lack of sophistication and believe it to be tantamount to lack of careful deliberation. Most wisdom, given enough time, becomes simple.

The Overland Light Gnostic Route

Knowledge is the thing that in most every tradition is gained at some great sacrificial cost. This specific reading list will allow a person who likes Gnosticism to flourish in a way that will not most likely get them killed. There is a heavy reliance on Torah in this suggested route.
